Lori + Bryan Bay Head Wedding

It rained cats and dogs but nothing could put a damper on the joy and happiness that was evident between the bride and groom during their wedding in Bay Head. Lori was carried in by the groomsmen as the church grounds were flooded. A big thank you to Kris Rupp for her second shooting and Dan Russo for all his help with lighting. Billy Hector had the crowd dancing and Bryan even got a chance to jam with the band before the night was over.

In the modern society that we live in, the owner of Watermark, the venue of choice, checked up on the bride via his cell phone. Loving the contrast of the beauty of a wedding and the reliance on technology, I snapped a shot of Russell on his phone for the first image in the series below. The rest of the images are of the lovely bride and groom, who posed with the unique and captivating backgrounds in Watermark and the surrounding Asbury Park areas. When we stumbled upon the painted wall with the mural of the woman, I was in a photography Utopia. The backgrounds weren’t the only thing that provided for great pictures though; the groom was a natural model, and the bride was beautiful. Congratulations Lauren and Stephen, I had a lot of fun with you two.

After they tied the knot in Costa Rica, this pair celebrated back in the States with their friends and family. Accompanied by a beautiful view of the ocean and vibrant fireworks, guests danced the night away alongside a rooftop pool. With handmade decorations by the bride, the reception was adorned with props, ranging from fish in vases, to painted picture frames, to colorful pillows, to starfish galore. As a thank you for joining them in their celebration, Tami and Rick provided a candy bar for some take-home goody bags, which was just as sweet as the rest of the night.

Despite its quaint size, this wedding was pouring with love and memories in the making. To set the tone, the soon-to-be bride was greeted with a little surprise from the best man: top hats (which provided for great props and a lot of fun poses). Another great prop? The rings. The newlyweds slipped rings on each other’s fingers adorned with the Harley Davidson logo. All in all, with a pastor full of jokes, a wedding party full of laughter, and a day full of fun, it was a recipe for a great shoot. Special thanks to the matron of honor for making it all possible.

Nikki + Greg Trash The Dress

Rain, rain, go away…Nikki and Greg had a soggy day on their wedding day but we didn’t let

that get in the way of getting some great shots on the beach after they got back from their honeymoon.

“Trash the Dress” sessions are held after your wedding day to give you a chance to let your hair down

and have fun in your wedding attire. Believe me, you are not going to wear your dress again.
