• Whether you're planning a wedding, just got engaged, having a family reunion, showing off your new bundle of joy, capturing your baby bump, or looking for the perfect gift for your man, you've come to the right place. I'm based out of Lavallette, and use that to my advantage. With the beach and the bay just blocks away, I often use them as my natural backgrounds. Nothing is better than beautiful people in the foreground, and a beautiful sunset or sand dune in the background. I also shoot in my personal studio on Grand Central Avenue. Throughout my years as a photographer I've hidden a few tricks up my sleeve to help you look your best in front of my lens. Give me a call, or send me an email, and we can plan to make your next trip to Lavallette one to remember through timeless photographs.

Seaside Heights Casino Pier Grunge Shoot

We started the night in front of the bright-colored Le Petit Garage Boutique in Seaside Heights, which thankfully enough the owner Cara willingly let us use as a background. While Cara stayed inside arranging the latest accessories and articles of clothing, Carter and Caroline posed outside with the bright orange and pink storefront. After that, we headed to the boardwalk and the children played games and posed in front of the rides. I utilized the bright lights, unique architecture, and flashy signs of Seaside as additional backgrounds and fun props. The night was an incredible amount of fun with Carter’s dance moves and charismatic personality, along with Caroline’s natural modeling abilities. The mom wanted fun pictures with bright lights and colors, and Julie, I think you got it!

Blaine family on the beach in Lavallette

On a beautiful night, this family showed off their adorable children and undeniable love for each other. With their picture-perfect attire, they were great subjects and a lot of fun to work with. Special thanks to the parents for keeping the children smiling by swinging them around, throwing them up in the air, and overall just loving them. Your efforts paid off.

Family Reunion in Lavallette

With family traveling from South Carolina, this reunion brought together loved ones from up and down the east coast. Right before the rain came, little Max almost face-planted into the ground–luckily enough this became one of the favorite shots of the night (last image shown below). Although Mother Nature cut our session short, I was able to squeeze in a quick session a few days later to make the family reunion album complete.

Family Portrait on the beach in Lavallette

Who says a family portrait has to be stiff and boring? With some fake mustaches and quirky personalities, this family transformed the standard family portrait into a fun and far-from-boring session. The men had a variety of facial expressions to give me (although they failed to inform Kerry on the silliness of the picture sometimes!). Whether on the beach or on the boardwalk, it was a non-stop laugh fest, and we worked with a variety of formations and poses. The family even did a few walking pictures and joined in on an original Riccio song: “We’re walking, we’re talking.” Special thanks to Carl’s aid for helping me out with lighting when my assistant couldn’t make it!

Lauren + Stephen Wedding in Asbury Park

In the modern society that we live in, the owner of Watermark, the venue of choice, checked up on the bride via his cell phone. Loving the contrast of the beauty of a wedding and the reliance on technology, I snapped a shot of Russell on his phone for the first image in the series below. The rest of the images are of the lovely bride and groom, who posed with the unique and captivating backgrounds in Watermark and the surrounding Asbury Park areas. When we stumbled upon the painted wall with the mural of the woman, I was in a photography Utopia. The backgrounds weren’t the only thing that provided for great pictures though; the groom was a natural model, and the bride was beautiful. Congratulations Lauren and Stephen, I had a lot of fun with you two.
